In Loving Memory of a Special Son, Jeremy Derain

My son Jeremy suffered a brain injury and was in a coma for 1 month.   We were at your side each and every day.  Tough seeing you like that but we know you heard every family members comforting words.   Nothing could have prepared us when God called you home.  We prayed we could have more time with you,  you were only 38 years old.   Jeremy was kind, gentle, caring and strong.  He was very thoughtful.  He loved working out and had a good sense of humor.  He was a good big brother to Jacob and Jordan.  Cuzzins/Friends loved him.  Have many, many fond memories of him when they were growing up and hanging out.  We are going to miss your laughter and smile.  You took a piece of our heart when you left.    He is in Heaven praising God with his Grandpa,  and knowing him running around being adventurous.   My son will be deeply missed by everyone and we will never be the same.    I wish we could see you one more time, come walking through the door.  But I know that is impossible,  We will hear your voice no more.  I pray that God will give us strength and somehow get us through.  As we struggle with the heartache that came when we lost you.   Jeremy R.I.P.
