Hi, my name is Tomeka, and I’m the mother of the beautiful Kenyatta Bell who tragically lost her life in a car accident on April 13th. I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to share her story and ask for your help during this heartbreaking time. She was only 28 years old and leaves behind four precious children under the age of 8. As we try to navigate this loss, we’re also working to give her the farewell she deserves and ensure her children are cared for. Any support—prayers, shares, or donations—means the world right now.
A devastating tragedy struck early Sunday morning on April 13th, when 28-year-old Kenyatta Bell, mother of four, from Tampa, lost her life in a single-vehicle crash. She was a passenger in the car. While traveling southbound, the driver attempted to overtake another vehicle and took sudden evasive action to avoid a collision. This caused him to lose control of the vehicle, which then spun off the road, crashed into a tree, and ended in a heartbreaking loss. Alongside her were all four of children, 2 of the children suffered serious injuries. They are currently recovering, but the emotional and physical toll on the family is immense.
This vibrant and loving mother leaves behind four small children, all under the age of 8, who are now left without their mother’s care, love, and presence. Her sudden passing has left her family and community in deep grief, facing not only the emotional pain but also the financial burden of funeral and burial costs. Loved ones are rallying together to raise funds and provide support for her children during this unimaginably difficult time.
Kenyatta had recently achieved a major milestone: she became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and was working toward her ultimate dream of becoming a Registered Nurse (RN). She was passionate about helping others and dedicated her life to caring—not only for her patients but for her children, whom she raised with strength, grace, and unconditional love. She had dreams of creating a stable and fulfilling life for her family, and she pursued those dreams with courage and determination.
This loss is more than tragic—it’s unimaginable. A mother taken too soon, children left without their guiding light, and a future full of promises cut short. She may no longer be here physically, but her spirit—strong, nurturing, and full of hope—lives on in her children and in all the lives she touched.
The family is asking for help from anyone who feels led to donate, share, or simply pray. Every little bit will go toward honoring her memory and supporting the children she loved so dearly.
