It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of Gina Kessler, a beautiful soul who was truly a light to all who knew her. Gina was a true queen, stylish and fab, loving, kind, and full of warmth, always living her life to the fullest. From her laugh to her smile, Gina had a way of lighting up every room she entered, and her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Gina’s passing was sudden and unexpected, due to a possible heart condition failure, leaving her family and loved ones completely heartbroken.

Gina was a hardworking executive legal secretary, serving top attorneys at leading law firms across New York City throughout her career. She worked tirelessly to build a stable and loving life for her family. Above all, Gina was a devoted working mother who stopped at nothing to care for her son and provide for her family. Everything she did was driven by love, sacrifice, and strength.

Gina leaves behind her only child and beloved son, Quiouri Black, who lives as a quadriplegic due to a C5 spinal cord injury sustained after a gunshot injury in the fall of 2007. Gina was not only his greatest advocate, but also his only primary full-time caregiver, dedicating her life to ensuring his care, comfort, and well-being. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Gucci, whom she loved dearly and who was a constant source of comfort, companionship, and joy in her life.

Her sudden passing has created an unimaginable loss and placed her family in the position of facing unexpected emotional and financial challenges.

This fundraiser has been created to help cover all afterlife costs and related expenses, and to support the family during this difficult transition. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help ease the financial burden and allow her loved ones to focus on healing and honoring Gina’s legacy.
