My name is Tom Connor and am humbly reaching out on behalf of the Uriostegui family, whom I was privileged to meet while a volunteer for the Fullerton Rangers Youth Soccer Club several years ago. Our sons were teammates and the Uriosteguis were the most supportive of families. 

 

It is with great sadness, I share news of the tragic passing of Guillermina Mayorga at age 45, Saturday 4/2/22 due to complications of kidney failure. She fought valiantly to recover in the hospital, but it was not meant to be and she was taken from her family and friends, way too soon.

 

Guillermina leaves behind her grieving, faithful husband of 24 years - Luis Uriostegui – the love of her life, who now faces raising their sons alone, with a broken heart.

 

She also leaves her 3 sons: Diego (20), Isaac (17) and Alan (14) – Whom she loved dearly and always was there for, as a devoted stay-at-home mom. All of whom were raised to be respectful, hard-working young men.

 

Guillermina was kind to everyone around her and was always willing to extend a hand, even when she was not at her best, health wise. She was funny and had a good sense of humor. But most of all she was a great mom, who loved watching the boys play soccer and football with her husband. She also enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.

 

Guillermina was also a devout member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Anaheim, CA and enjoyed attending Sunday services.

 

Guillermina’s passing is a devastating, irreplaceable loss for Luis, Diego, Isaac, Alan, her extended family and all her friends. Hopefully their pain will ease over time and leave them with fond, loving remembrances of her as the beloved wife, cherished mother, beautiful sister and generous friend that she was.

 

Please consider contributing whatever you are able. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. The goal of this fund is to assist the family through this most difficult time. All proceeds will go directly to the Uriostegui family to help cover costs associated with Guillermina’s funeral service and medical bills.

Queridos amigos,

 

Mi nombre es Tom Connor y me comunico humildemente en nombre de la familia Uriostegui.

 

Es con mucha tristeza,que comparto la noticia del trágico fallecimiento de Guillermina Mayorga. Con tan solo 45 año de edad falleció el sábado 4/2/22 por complicaciones de insuficiencia renal. Luchó valientemente para recuperarse en el hospital, pero no estaba destinado a ser así y fue apartada de su familia y amigos, demasiado pronto.

 

Guillermina deja atrás a su afligido y fiel esposo que fue su compañero por 24 años, Luis Uriostegui, el amor de su vida, quien ahora se enfrenta a criar a sus hijos solo, con el corazón roto.

 

También deja solos a sus 3 hijos: Diego (20), Isaac (17) y Alan (14), a quienes amaba mucho. Guillermina siempre cuido y apoyo a sus hijos. Fue una Mama dulce y cariñosa. Todos los cuales fueron criados para ser jóvenes respetuosos y trabajadores.

 

Guillermina era amable con todos los que la rodeaban y siempre estaba dispuesta a tender una mano, incluso cuando no estaba en su mejor momento de salud. Era alegre y tenía un buen sentido del humor. Pero, sobre todo, era una gran madre, a quien le encantaba ver a sus hijos jugar fútbol y fútbol americano junto con su esposo. También le gustaba cocinar para su familia y amigos.

 

Guillermina también era un miembro devoto de la Iglesia Católica St. Boniface en Anaheim, CA y disfrutaba asistir a los servicios dominicales.

 

El fallecimiento de Guillermina es una pérdida devastadora e irremplazable para Luis, Diego, Isaac, Alan, su familia extendida y todos sus amigos. Con suerte, su dolor se aliviará con el tiempo y los dejará con recuerdos gratos, afectuosos y amorosos de ella como la amada esposa, la adorada madre, la hermosa hermana y la generosa amiga que fue.
