Our beloved mother, grandmother, and family matriarch, Bessie S Proctor, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 93. She was born on September 2, 1932, in Prince George County, Maryland, For the past 19 years, my sister and I cared for her full-time at home, fulfilling her greatest wish-to spend her final years surrounded by family and to pass peacefully at home. We were blessed to give her the love, dignity, and comfort she deserved, just as she always gave to us. Bessie leaves behind, 5 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was a woman of strength, grace, and endless love-always putting family first and touching every life she encountered. Her light will continue to live of through all of us. We are raising funds to help with funeral and memorial expenses. We will be holding services here in Arizona, and in honor of her toots and wishes, we will also be taking her back home to Maryland, where most of her family lives-including her sister, brother, and where her parents rest. Many loved ones there would like the opportunity to celebrate her life and say their goodbyes. In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask for contributions to support her funeral and her journey home to Maryland. We deeply appreciate your love, prayers, and support during this time.
