Hello, my name is Julia Yakabuskie, and on behalf of our C1 family, I am creating this fundraiser for our dear friend and coworker Veronica Jobin, and her loving wife, Desiree Jobin.

This is an incredibly difficult message to write. Our hearts are heavy as we share the devastating news that Vee passed away last night.

Vee was more than just a nurse—she was a bright light in our workplace and in the lives of everyone she touched. Her compassion, humor, and dedication to her patients and colleagues were unmatched. Whether she was offering a helping hand on the floor, sharing a laugh to lift someone’s spirits, or going the extra mile for her patients, Vee’s presence brought warmth and comfort to those around her.

Our team is heartbroken, and we want to support Desiree during this unimaginable time. All funds raised will go directly to Desiree to help with funeral expenses, time off work, and anything else she may need while she grieves the loss of her beloved wife.
