In It for Isaac!

Story

Isaac was diagnosed on April 23, 2019 at the age of 23 with Stage IV Metastatic Colon Cancer. His treatment plan includes multiple surgeries and months of aggressive chemotherapy. He and his family will have expenses related to medical bills, medical supplies, nutritional and other therapies, lost wages,  and Isaac's rent and utilities. Any support you can provide will help relieve stress for Isaac and his family and provide important resources in his fight against cancer. So in rugby terms: Join the scrum! We'll all bind together and as Isaac says, "keep driving forward” til we win this thing!Isaac was born and raised in Iowa City, IA and attended Iowa City West High School. He has been working as a soil engineer and on an organic vegetable farm while completing his degree in Environmental Science at the University of Iowa. He has also been a youth counselor for the Neighborhood Center and plays rugby for the Iowa City Ducks division 3 men's team along with his twin brother, Clay. Both Isaac and Clay are volunteer coaches for the Iowa City Youth Rugby Club and have had the opportunity to coach their little brother, Logan, on the team. Isaac also enjoys playing Dungeons & Dragons with his brothers and friends, watching Critical Role,  listening to music, and tending to his garden. Anyone who knows Isaac will tell you he's one of the kindest souls you'll ever meet and he sure doesn't deserve the hand he's been dealt. He's also tough and committed to doing whatever it takes to beat cancer and is grateful for all the love and support that has been shown to him along the way.
