In honour of Sachit

In honour of my dear cousin Sachit, my role model who sadly lost his battle to leukemia a few years ago, I am undertaking the challenge of completing an Ironman to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. Sachit's unwavering spirit and determination in the face of adversity inspired everyone who knew him, and this campaign is a tribute to his legacy. By participating in this grueling event (3.8km swim, 180km bike and 42.2km run), I aim to channel my grief into action, helping to provide hope and assistance to others battling this devastating disease. Every dollar raised will contribute to vital research and patient care, ensuring future generations have better treatment options and support systems. Thus, I'll be raising money for the Canadian Cancer Society and Ottawa General Hospital where Sachit was treated. My goal is to raise $10,000 and all money will be split between the two charities. I invite you to join me on this journey - together we can honour Sachit's memory and make a meaningful impact in the fight against cancer.

Will be sharing a weekly entry to share my reflections and progress. Follow my journey along here
