In Honour of Ryan Soobrayan

Donation protected
On Wednesday, the 26th September, Ryan Soobrayan was pricked on the index finger  by a Black Mamba fang while milking the snake. He was rushed to hospital where they resuscitated him but after the brain scan on Saturday the 29th of September, Ryan was taken off life support and passed away. On Thursday, Ryan turned 27 but unfortunately could not celebrate his final birthday due to being in a coma. Ryan supported his family by milking venomous snakes to contribute towards medicine.  Ryan gave his life to help save others,  a true hero!

On average 100 000 lives are lost annually to venomous snake bites,  610 000 lives are lost annually in the US alone to heart related problems, without people like Ryan these numbers would be a lot higher as the venom he was extracting is used to cure high blood pressure, heart attacks, brain injuries, strokes and is currently being studied to contribute towards the cure of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.

Words can not describe our pain, we lost a son, a brother,a fiance and a friend. Ryan was one who would always go out of his way to help others.

Any money you donate will be used to support Ryan's family in this devastating time as he was one of the financial contributors to his family as well as covering the medical and funeral bills that the family are left with.   We appreciate any help given to us even with a simple sharing of this page to educate people on how snake venom is used to save the lives of millions around the world!
