For Our Warrior: Supporting Clark Champion's Legacy & Family
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Community,
It is with a heavy heart that we share the unexpected passing of Clark, a beloved martial artist and the heart and soul of our gym. To us, he was more than just a coach; he was a mentor, a friend, and a passionate leader who dedicated his life to building a strong, supportive community. He founded our team, Warrior, and instilled in us the values of discipline and respect, he created a family.
As a person, Clark was everyone’s go-to; he was the most generous man we knew. He always took the time to listen and offer support to others, no matter what challenges he faced himself. His kind ways made everyone feel valued and cared for. He was a wonderful dad to his boys and had a close bond with his two stepdaughters, always making sure they felt loved and supported.
Through his work Clark touched countless young lives, showing them that martial arts could build confidence and offering a safe space to learn and grow. His daft sense of humour and welcoming nature could light up any room, putting everyone at ease and bringing the belly laughs mid class. Clark truly had a gift for making people feel welcome, connecting with people and his infectious positivity left a lasting impact on all of us.
The loss of Clark has left a profound void in our hearts and the gym he built. In his honour, we are creating this GoFundMe page to assist with funeral costs and provide support for his partner Lindsey and family during this incredibly difficult time. Additionally, we aim to continue the legacy he left behind by ensuring our gym remains for the young Warrior team and for anyone looking to become part of the amazing Warrior family and community.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will go directly towards honouring Clark’s memory and keeping the spirit of Warrior alive. We want to ensure that his vision for this gym stays alive, providing a space where everyone feels welcome.
Thank you for considering supporting us. Your generosity will help us celebrate the life of our dear friend and continue the work he was so passionate about.
With gratitude,
The Warrior Family
