My mum, Padmadevi, was the heart and bright light of the Trivedi family, someone whose warmth, laughter, and love filled every room she entered. She raised us with unfailing kindness, natural generosity, and a sense of humour that could lift even the heaviest day. Her beautiful smile softened the world, and her contagious laugh made everyone around her feel lighter.

She was lovable in every way, funny, open‑hearted, and endlessly giving. At times her generosity made us laugh in exasperation, yet it’s exactly what we now miss the most.

To be loved by her was to feel safe, supported, and truly understood. She wasn’t just my mum; she was my favourite person, my light, and the foundation of who I am. Our bond, built on trust, shared laughter, endlessly teasing her, and a love that never asked for anything in return, will stay with me every day.

For all of us, she was our anchor. Her warmth held us together, her spirit lifted us, and her love made our home whole. The kindness she poured into my dad, her children, grandchildren, great‑grandchildren, and our extended families and friends continues to comfort us.

This fundraiser is our way of honouring her, her selflessness, laughter, her love, her generosity, and the joy she brought into our lives.
