Patterson was a dedicated Electrical Engineering student whose determination, humour, and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone around him. He approached his studies with a resilience and a tenacious spirit, always encouraging group study, sharing practice solutions, and motivating his peers to succeed together.

Known for his sharp wit, honest personality, and unforgettable presence, Michael brought laughter and unity even during the most stressful academic moments. His journey reflected true perseverance especially in mastering Electrical Networks, where he turned setback into success through hard work and unwavering determination.

We have created this fundraiser to give his friends, classmates, lecturers and well-wishers the opportunity to offer their condolences through giving. The proceeds will go towards assisting with funeral expenses and/or future educational expenses of his daughter in the hope that she will be able to finish what her dad started.
