In Honour of Ian Funnell

As long-time "dance family" friends of Jillian, Ian, Andrea and Bill, our family and I would like to set up a GoFundMe account in honour of Ian (Jillian's brother; Andrea and Bill's son) who at such a young age fought a tremendous and lengthly battle with a brutal form of cancer. We are so saddened to hear of his passing. Far too soon and far too young. Our thoughts are with his entire family and we are so grateful we had a chance to know him. He certainly knew how to make people feel good and how to get them laughing.

 

In the words of his sister, Jillian:

"You are so very tough and you fought and fought until it was out of reach. And I'm so very proud of you. You aren't in pain anymore. You can walk, do your Rubik's cube, skate, throw a ball around now, It may not be with us, but at least you can. I love you Bud, I miss you and I always will."

We have set up this fund as a way to honour Ian and contribute to anything Jillian and her family may need at this time.
