In honour of Hema

On Saturday 13th April, our mother sadly passed away after an 8 year long battle with cancer, she told us during her last days that she did not want any flowers at her funeral and any money that would have been spent on flowers should be donated to St Catherines Hospice. 

Although Mum didn't get to spend her last days at St Catherines Hospice, they were integral in supporting not only my mother during her last weeks but also us as a family.  They helped us with her pain management and fears whilst we cared for her and they supported us during the sleepless nights of not knowing what to do. 

We don't expect to make £1000 but any little helps, as the saying goes...

Anyone that had the pleasure of knowing our Mum would know that she was the most selfless person on this planet, even during her last days she was thinking of others - as she always was. 

So please, if you can, donate to this wonderful cause in the name of someone equally as wonderful.
