In Honour and Memory of Our Dear Friend Theo Scott
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
We appeal to you for your help in honouring our beautiful friend, Theo Scott.
Theo is an amazing young man, charming, kind, funny, and has just about the cheekiest grin one could have. Unfortunately, Theo left us on the 11th of December 2024.
Theo was an avid Aston Villa fan from a very young age, until the very end. In fact, on his last night, Theo was out, surrounded by friends but insisted on watching the RB Leipzig vs Aston Villa match, and as Ross Barkley got the tie braking third goal in the 85th minute, Theo as he often did, ecstatically screamed allowed with joy, however confusing all the people around us, in a quiet bar.
Theo had a beautiful ability of making people feel seen and making them laugh, he was very social, and brought us all together. Now that we have had some time to begin our stages of grief, we come to you to ask for your help in honouring the outstanding human being whom we were privileged enough to call our friend.
As his friends we ask for your support in donations so that we can have a memorial bench put in Greenwich Park. This park is where we spent many sunny days in summer together, kicking around a ball and is where we would like to go to in future summers to remember him. It will also be a place for anyone to sit, think, and reflect about the ones they love. We also want to raise money for the charity Young Minds in Theo’s name, in the hopes that the money raised will help them support young people in their most vulnerable moments, and their families.
£5000 of the total £8000 will go to the bench, and £3000 will go to Young Minds.
A little about Theo from some of the many friends who loved him:
Theo was not only my first real friend in London when I moved to the UK, but he was also the little brother I always wanted. He essentially made my university experience what it was, the laughs we had, the friends we made, the flat we shared, the Lime Bikes back from the club or pub, I will never forget those memories, he truly meant more than he will ever know. His laugh was always the loudest, smile always the brightest and energy the most electric. He was the other pea to my pod, my best friend, my brother and someone who changed my life for the better. Love always, Kade
Theo, Theo, Theo, where do I even begin. Theo was more than just a friend he was like a brother to me. One of my best memories with Theo was when he first moved into his flat, he was spending the night alone as Kade was out of country, and so Theo had called and asked me to come over as he was “Scared” to stay alone haha. I said if there’s dinner then sure I’ll come stay, as the night progressed, and I got hungry I asked him what there was. Theo proceeds to pull out Fish fingers and bread. No butter, no sauce, no salt or pepper. Just bread and fish fingers. With the biggest and cheekiest smile on his face in normal Theo fashion he says, “I didn’t say what dinner I just said there was dinner”. Always so positive towards life and the bright spark of joy in any and every room he entered. To my Best Friend and brother, you will be missed forever❤️Love, Omsai
Theo has been a wonderful friend and has introduced me to so many amazing people. Because of him, I have found a great friend group that I will always cherish. I will miss him and always be grateful for everything he has done for me. Love, Sid
Going to miss your amazing character and the lovely times we spent together. Always thinking of you. Up the villa! Love, Nick.
Theo was a brother to me ever since I met him in my first year of uni. Countless hours spent laughing together as we both grew from teenagers into adults. I’ll never forget the tears of laughter I would cry anytime we were together, as well as him being the first person to pick me up when I was down. In his own words, “Tell us again mate”. Love, Rupert
Theo was a very lively and likeable person, who was an integral part of the uoG football team. As a massive social person, he made sure everyone was included and happy as well as helping us become the best version of ourselves on and off the pitch. He was a main part of creating one of the best teams and communities that uoG football has ever seen and will have a lasting impact on all the members of the Team❤️ Love, Luik
What can I say? How to summarize your love for a person, or the everlasting effect that they have on your life and turn it into a couple words? What I can tell you is I met Theo at the beginning of university when I was sorely lacking in friends. He took me under his wing, introduced me to his world, and gave me his friendship, for that I’ll be forever grateful. He had a beautiful ability to make everyone feel seen and heard; his laugh and smile were infectious. While he was often the loudest person in the room making everyone laugh, he had an incredibly gentle side to him, which I am honoured that he showed me. I only had the privilege of calling Theo my friend for a little over a year, but I have so many wonderful memories that I will hold onto forever and it breaks my heart that we don’t get to make any more. Always a pleasure, never a chore.
I miss you Theodorable
