Honoring the Life of Zyon St Marks

Zyon Atticus St Marks passed away at 11:34 pm on October 31, 2024. He was just a few days short of nine months old.

Zyon was a handsome, special child, and was loved deeply by his incredible parents, Morgan and Myles, as well as everyone who met him. His parents called him their cheeser, for his huge smiles and frequent giggles, which were catching to anyone in the room. In his short life, he brought boundless joy to his parents, family, and friends.

On October 21st, Zyon had to be hospitalized, and was placed on a ventilator. After a week of testing, he was diagnosed with Leigh Syndrome, a fatal mitochondrial disorder; neither of his parents knew they were carriers of this condition. After his diagnosis, Morgan and Myles made the devastating decision to take him off the ventilator, allowing him to pass comfortably, surrounded by love.

At this time, Morgan and Myles are asking for space to process and grieve. We are seeking funds to support them with various expenses during this unimaginably difficult time, allowing them to focus on grieving without concern for medical expenses, memorial arrangements, loss of income, and any other related expenses. Every contribution, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated during this challenging time. Even if you are unable to donate, sharing this campaign with others would mean the world to us.

Thank you for helping us honor Zyon’s memory and for supporting his parents in their time of need. He is deeply missed, and we are grateful for the kindness and generosity of friends, family, and the community as they mourn the loss of this incredible little man.
