It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Xzayviia Bundy, affectionately known to so many as Zay, on Monday, February 9th.

Zay was a true leader with a bright spirit and a loving heart. He was a devoted son, a caring brother, a proud nephew, a loving uncle, and an incredible friend. His presence brought light into every room, and his impact on our community is undeniable. His passing has come as a complete shock, and the sadness we all feel is beyond words.

Anyone who knew Zay knows he had a funny way of texting or calling asking for a “quick $20” on CashApp or Chime so he could make a parlay. It became one of those little things that made him him. So today, we’re asking everyone to honor Zay with his final “CashApp request.” Instead of sending it to his phone, we ask that you send it through this GoFundMe to support his family during this unimaginable time.

So many people have reached out asking, “How can we help?” During this incredibly difficult season, donations will help cover the costs associated with laying our beloved Zay to rest—sending him home to rest peacefully with his Granny. Funds will also assist his mother as she works to rebuild, secure a new home, and purchase essential household items as she begins the difficult journey of putting her life back together.

No amount is too small. Whether it’s $20 in honor of Zay or any amount placed on your heart, every donation, prayer, phone call, message, and act of kindness means more than we can express.
