In Honor of Tim Texas

One of our long time and very active members, Tim (aka Tim_Texas ASMR), passed away suddenly on March 28th. Tim's passing was sudden and unexpected to those closest to him. Tim was found to have had an aneurysm. It was a quick and sudden passing.

I have been in contact with his mother, whom I keep in my prayers daily. I asked if it were okay to pass along this sad news to the communities he was part of, and she gave me permission to share.

Tim was an active member of my online community but more importantly, he was my friend. What started out as one online person communicating with another online person, turned into a meaningful friendship. Thank you Tim for everything you did for me. Thank you for being YOU. My friend is gone. Our friend is gone. I will never forget my friend, Tim.

I wanted to do something for Tim and his mother in his honor. I asked if Tim had any favorite charities and his mother mentioned the organization from whom he adopted his dog, Duncan.

More information about Westie Rescue Houston: Westie & Scottie Rescue Houston is a group of volunteers throughout greater Houston and Southern Louisiana dedicated to rescuing West Highland White Terriers, Scottish Terriers, and Cairn Terriers. We provide medical attention (including spaying and neutering) and socialization skills while keeping them in safe, loving foster homes and searching for forever families. We have been rescuing Westies, Scotties, and other terrier breeds since 2001 and have saved more than 2000 dogs.
