In honor of the Korte Family

In loving memory of the joy Wilson Korte brought us all near and far, and in support of the dedication Lauren Korte has brought as an Olathe Public School teacher to her students, please join us in supporting the Wimmer Student Care Fund through the Olathe Public Schools Foundation .

The Wimmer Student Care Fund supports students and families through emergency funds. The Wimmer Student Care Fund has been in great demand during this difficult year, helping with rent, medical supplies, and utilities among other concerns. Our generosity will go to assist needs like the following:

-A student needing instructional aid and a safe place to go after school received tuition assistance for an after-school program.

-The family of an Olathe student received financial assistance to have electrical services restored to their home.

-A student suffering from a cardiovascular ailment received assistance with past-due medical bills.

-Bus fare assistance was provided for a student in need of reliable transportation because mother couldn’t afford a car and had medical problems that prevented her from driving.

-Numerous high school and junior high students received financial support to attend school district summer athletic camps.
