In honor of Talasia Cuffie

On Friday November 15, 2019, Talasia's life was tragically taken from her at the young age of 17.  Everyone who knew Talasia knew a person who was full of life, energy, humor, and loving sassiness.  Born and raised in Long Island City Queens, Talasia was known and loved in her community.  She was a role model to younger kids in the neighborhood and always polite and helpful to her neighbors who spoke so highly of her good nature.  Talasia made an impact on all who came in contact with her including, teachers, friends, and acquaintances who have all shared unforgettable moments with her.  She spoke her mind and she loved fiercely.  If Talasia cared about you she had your back as if you were family.  Talasia leaves behind a mother, father, and brother who are broken and trying to make sense of this senseless loss.  This collection is to help pay for the expenses that no parent should ever have to think about incurring.  We want to make sure that as the family grieves, they have a cushion to at least lessen the financial burden.  We are asking for contributions to cover the funeral expenses and alleviate the financial stress as they attempt to deal with the magnitude of this loss.  Any amount helps.  Thank you for helping to support the family during this time.
