Hi my name is Dassja Smith and the reason I started this GoFund Me is in honor of my mother Staci Savage to make sure she has a memorial she deserves. Just within these last few months we found out she had cancer and from there things escalated so quickly. We found out that she had cancer back in April but we weren’t aware of what type. By the 28th of April she was admitted to the icu for complications with breathing and sharp pains in her stomach. Within the next few days of her being in the icu we found out that it was stage four Metastatic Cancer which also caused her liver and kidneys to start failing at a fast rate.
And with it being stage four cancer that has already spread massively there were no treatment options. But that didn’t make her give up my mom was a fighter she fought for 16 days 12 hours and 38 minutes in the hospital. My mom wasn’t a quitter she’s the strongest person i know and despite what she was going through. Any time you would see her she would be smiling, my mom wasn’t the kind of person to let everyone see how she was truly feeling she wanted to make everyone happy and have good time regardless of her situation or how she may of been feeling that day. My mom was the kind of person she didn’t care about how someone looked or what they were wearing she loved everyone for who they were and she loved everyone quality especially kids. She was a Mother but also a Daughter she was a Friend but also a Sister she was a Cousin to some but an Aunt to others. She was something to a lot of people and loved by so many she will hold a place in a lot of our hearts and will never be forgotten. Any amount you’re willing to contribute will be greatly appreciated and will be put towards her memorial and cremation. If you’re not able to donate at this time sharing or sending to friends helps just as much. Thank you all for your time ❤️
