In Honor of Special Tactics Airman: SSgt Sam Marti
Donation protected
On March 8, 2020, the Special Operations’ community lost a fellow brother, teammate and a hell-of-a good man. Sergeant Samuel (Sam) Marti, an intelligence analyst assigned to the 724th Special Tactics Group located at Pope, AAF, was tragically killed while pursuing one of his off-duty passions.
Sam was born in Waterbury, CT on January 30, 1993, to Kenneth F. and Dawn (Brooks) Marti. After graduating Wamogo Regional High School, Sam attended the University of Vermont before finding his calling with the United States Air Force. His loves included hockey, dirt bikes, golfing, exotic cars, snowboarding, playing guitar, and spending time with family and friends. Although Sam was soft spoken, his dry quick-witted humor, complimented by his Peaky Blinder-style haircut and GQ attire, made the man that everyone loved to be around.
The money raised will be donated to Sam’s family, as well as the Semper Fi Fund and The Association: A Benevolent Organization for 724 Special Tactics Group in his honor.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Humbly,
The men and women of Special Tactics
