In Honor of Shaun O'Brien

Shaun O'Brien was a man loved by all who got to know him. He came in to this world with a heart condition - one that saw him through four open heart surgeries in his lifetime. Despite that, and the scars, he never slowed down nor backed away from living an adventure we could only dream of. Throughout his life, he proved himself a dedicated son, committed boyfriend, loyal friend, mentor to his cousins, and brother to many of us.

Late in the afternoon of July 21st, 2022, Shaun's life ended suddenly, tragically, while working at his job. His heart suddenly gave out. There were many valiant efforts given by several trained individuals, but unfortunately, he couldn't be saved. No words can accurately describe the amount of pain his sudden loss has had on us all, especially for his mother, Rhonda. Five years ago, cancer claimed the life of Shaun's father. Last month, the family cat Kippur died.

With the sudden loss of Shaun, and finances already past the breaking point due to one tragedy after another, we cannot provide him funeral services without generous donations. I am asking everyone to please, help with whatever funds you can. Shaun was a beautiful soul called early by God for a higher purpose. He deserves a proper farewell from us all.
