It is with a heavy heart that I write this request. 17 years ago, I met one of the best people that has ever existed on this planet, Marine Corps Sgt. Joseph "Jay" Gore, my Marine Corps brother, the father to two beautiful boys, and the husband and best friend to his amazing wife. On the 18th of September 2025, Jay suddenly left this world. He leaves behind his wife and two boys, as well as countless others. The impact Jay has left on this planet will not be forgotten. He was an extraordinary man, always doing what he felt was right, always correcting himself if he found that to be wrongful. Sgt. Joseph Gore was a Marine who always strove to be the best possible version of himself, from his family, to deployments, to training and his Marines; he was an extraordinary human.

I am reaching out for the people that meant the most to him. His watch has ended. I am asking for help for the family at this time. Our aim is to cover the cost of his celebration of life and to take care of his family's needs until his widow's survivor benefits from the VA are approved. Every little bit helps.
