In Honor of Ruben Villa

Hi, my name is Jacqui Renshaw, wife of Jimmy Renshaw, and I am fundraising for the Villa Family.

This past month, the Villa family lost their father, Ruben Villa. Ruben's sudden passing has left his wife Sharlee, their four sons and two daughters utterly heartbroken. We hope to assist them with the unexpected financial burden of such a loss. Our goal is to raise close to $50,000 to help the Villa family during this difficult time.

For those who know the Villa Family - Ruben and Sharlee Villa have been integral parts of the Ventura community. My husband grew up as one of the kids of Ventura Avenue, who attended the same schools as the boys while playing baseball together their whole childhood. He remembers how great Pony Baseball was on the Avenue. Having seen other little leagues out there with their setup, and by far, their league was the best. Six of those years, Ruben was president of the league and played an integral part in contributing his time, which led many kids in the community to have great memories during their baseball season. Ruben was a great father and husband and is leaving a legacy behind him.

Ruben was great, and his wife Sharlee, whom he has left behind, is also an incredible person. She is the type to help a person in need. She always went above and beyond to ensure that all the people she cared for were safe and happy. With Rueben by her side, anything was possible. Learning to navigate this new time without her partner will not be easy, and anything you can do to donate will be greatly appreciated.

This is a big family with an even bigger heart, and we hope to assist them through this transition.
