In honor of my friend Berno

I am running a half Marathon Sunday the 19th of May in honor of my friend Bernadette Timmins. Bernadette was not only my friend but an inspiration to myself and everyone around her.
I would love to raise money for Pauls ward in Beaumont hospital as this is were Bernadette got looked after and spent alot of her time.There are 5 rooms in this ward for Cystic Fibrosis patients and I would love to be able make life a little more comfortable for the people who are there. CF patients spend a minimum of two weeks or more in hospital, wards become home, nurses become friends and even family.
Cystic fibrosis is an illness affecting the lungs , eventually patients needing lung transplants
My goal isent only to raise money but to create awareness and to urge everyone to carry a donor card. A single organ donor may save up to eight people and a single tissue donor may enhance the lives of up to 50 people. You have the power to save lives and improve the quality of life of those in need of any form of transplant.
