Beloved mother, wife, sister and friend Milagros Signora Teng Eusebio passed away peacefully on July 10, 2020 from cancer. She leaves behind her brother, Rudolfo Teng, her children Nelson T. Eusebio III, Crystal Eusebio, Audrey Eusebio, and daughter-in-law Eileen R. Eusebio.
Milagros, known as Mila or Nory to her friends and family, was born in Zamboanga, Philippines on June 17th, 1946. She graduated from the Zamboanga General Hospital School of Nursing in 1968. She came to America and worked as an RN at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. It was in Philly where she met her beloved late husband, Nelson S. Eusebio, Jr. After the family moved to San Diego, she retired from nursing to raise her children.
Mila absolutely loved Christmas and her home was decorated for Christmas year-round. Extremely stylish, Mila had great taste in clothing and jewelry and loved shopping, especially on QVC. She was also a crime-show junkie, and would watch any show in that genre: docu-drama, thriller, or mystery. She loved making her famous pancit palabok for her kids whenever they visited. A great listener, she had a knack for giving just the right gifts.
Along with her late husband, Mila was a devout Catholic. She was a very active member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel church, and a member of their Charismatic Prayer group. She had been deeply involved in her Church community for many years, and developed very strong friendships there.
Mila will be missed by everyone she touched with her kindness and open heart. Her children were her world and she made sure to let everyone know it. They are heartbroken by her loss and ask for your support and understanding during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating here to help the family with funeral expenses. The church will not accept flower deliveries.
