At 8:46am on Friday, February 2nd, my beloved brother Mario passed away, leaving us at the age of 42. Those fortunate enough to have shared his life understand the immense void his departure has created. His absence is deeply felt, and his memory will forever endure as a man who loved wholeheartedly.
Mario received a stage 4 cancer diagnosis in November, and within a span of 4 months, this devastating illness took away this remarkable individual from us. Ever since my brother learned about his diagnosis, he made a solemn commitment to give his utmost effort and fight until the end, and I can confidently say that he fulfilled that promise. He poured his heart and soul into his battle, and even though he is no longer with us, I can guarantee that he has profoundly impacted numerous lives, including mine. He will forever be our revered hero, leaving an indelible mark on our memories.
I am establishing this fund with the intention of assisting my sister-in-law in covering the expenses for my brother's celebration of life. The generous team at Home Depot has graciously offered to cover some of the costs, but I am hopeful that this fund will help with the remaining expenses. As those close to us are aware, it is difficult for us to ask for assistance, but I humbly request any donations that will contribute towards creating a truly exceptional memorial service to honor my extraordinary brother, as he deserves nothing but the best.
On behalf of my sister in law - Tanya, his amazing 3 boys - Isaiah, Marcus and Andrew, and I - his sister…we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any donations (big or small) and we thank every single person who has prayed for our family. We have read every single post, seen every single photo shared and wept many tears of gratitude witnessing just how much Mario was loved.
you will be forever missed big brother, but you will never be forgotten.
Details for his celebration of life will be given upon request..it’ll be a private service so nothing will be publicized.
