My best friend of almost 20 years, Lashana (Miranda) Williams, lost her month-long battle with Covid shortly after midnight at Reading Hospital last night.
Born and raised in Reading, PA, she was a mother of four living children with her youngest being only six years old. Lashana played many roles in life including wife, mother, sister, daughter, auntie, niece, and cousin. She was a Licensed Behavioral Specialist, a respected colleague to many, and an adjunct professor at both RACC and Alvernia University. Above all, she was a vital and intricate part of many people's lives that will be deeply missed. Her family is in need of community support, now more than ever, in taking care of medical bills and funeral expenses.
There are some people whose light shines so bright and beautiful, while they are here on earth that even after their passing their light still remains. She exemplified both that beauty and light. Forever in our hearts.
