In December 2019, Larry had a large brain tumor removed.  During 2020 he received both radiation and chemotherapy treatment.  Unfortunately, he passed away in his sleep on January 1st, 2021.

We are wishing to raise funds to commemorate Larry by having a plaque created at Scripps Research, with the money being distributed to Dr. Lairson's lab where he is conducting life changing brain cancer research.   We are hoping to raise enough to have the plaque overlooking Torrey Pines golf course and the ocean, both of which are Larry's favorite places in La Jolla.
