On September 12, 2020, Kyle was hit by a car while skateboarding in San Francisco. This left him with a fracture on the bottom of his right tibia and a Lisfranc fracture on his left foot. The right foot is required to be in a boot with 100% no weight while it heals. His left foot required an intensive overnight surgery. After the surgery, Kyle has three plates and eleven screws to reset his bones over the course of 4 months. He will then have to go back in for another surgery to remove the plates. Currently he in a cast on his left foot and a boot on his right. Kyle is unable to walk or use his feet while he heals.
Afterwards he will continue with Physical Therapy to help regain the ability to walk. This process will take 6 to 8 months for him to completely heal.
As his family, we would like to ask for your help in raising money for the medical bills and living expenses he will have from the accident.
Thank you for your support.
