Asking for help in honor of Jeff McCaw

Donation protected
I am asking for help in honor of my Dad. A gentle but rugged looking man always with a smile on his face. There was NEVER anything a friend could ask of Jeff that he wouldn’t do for them.

As most of you know, Dad had a fall landing him in the Neuro ICU in NJ. The brain bleed was large but stable. Within a week he went downhill and on October 8th he unexpectedly passed away.

Jeff was very proud of his service in Vietnam and rightfully so; he was in harms way many times. Jeff was born on Nov 1st and passed on Oct 8th. He was in Vietnam on those dates in 1969, and in those 2 months of 1969 about 1,000 guys were killed. About 4,000 had to be evacuated in those 2 months due to wounds. In that year Jeff was there, almost 12,000 guys were killed in Vietnam.

My Mom, Amber and Maddie (grandkids) were left heartbroken along with his other family and friends. Forever grateful he came home to create memories and the family we have.

His burial was with military honors at Glenwood in Broomall Pa. My parents prepaid for that; however, the funeral home bill is separate. The life insurance coupled with VA burial benefits cover half of the funeral home bill.

We have left it on the back burner as we have been dealing with other financial expenses. At this point, Mom will not be able to keep their home.

There are no words to express our gratitude for the outpouring of love and support that we have been receiving from friends, family, and Manoa Community Church.

If you can, support my GoFundMe by making a donation and please share it with others.  No donation is too small.
