In Honor of Gregory Moore
Donation protected
Gregory Moore, age 42, was taken from this world on Saturday, April 18th, 2020. He was a son, a brother, a father, a grandfather, an uncle and a friend. He will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.
Gregory was the type of person who always said “I Love You” when leaving, even when he was with fifteen guy friends. He took care of his family and looked out for his friends, and was always willing to help those in need.Gregory was a plumber by trade and could regularly be found working after hours at a friend’s house to fix a leaky pipe. Often there was no charge for his services, although some will attest that ample payment was made in forms of “thank you pints” at the local pub. He spoke fondly of his son and his new grandson. They were his proudest achievements. If you had a conversation with Gregory, it wasn’t long before he was showing you pictures of both as he scrolled through them with a smile. For friends that grew up with him, Gregory being a grandfather was one of those things that nobody could ever have imagined. But he cherished his newfound role as an elder Moore, and even grew the salt and pepper beard to play the part. Gregory was from East Moriches, New York. A small town that’s unknown by most of the world but one he swore was the best in the world. He loved cars, reggae, and everything and everyone in that town. He grew up on North Paquatuck, which will now officially be referred to as Gregory Lane by those who loved him.
He is survived by his father Bruce, brother Robert, sister Tracey, son Gregory Jr, nephews Riley and John, and grandson Ryker Alden.
