Hello, my name is Kayla. I am the youngest daughter of Emerson Flores.

My dad was hospitalized early November and since had suffered several strokes and infections. After fighting a long fight, he passed away on December 8th, 2025.

Emerson was a brother of 7 siblings, a father of 3, a grandfather of 3, and a husband to his wife. Emerson served in the US Navy for 22 years. Many people called him Chief Flores. He was very loved by his family and peers.

He loved cooking and singing karaoke alongside his friends and family. Emerson was a very bright and joyful man. He always had funny jokes and stories to tell. He really adored his dog Roku; he loved his little companion and would love taking him to the beach or to camp. He was very selfless and would make sure everyone else was taken care of before himself.

We want to make sure he is well remembered and to share his honor with everyone.

This has been a sudden and tragic loss, any help would be deeply appreciated.
