As many of you know, we’ve recently lost a friend, brother, and son. Devon was the funniest, caring, most outgoing and personable person you’ve probably ever crossed paths with if you knew him. If you didn’t, I can only pray that you have someone in your life that is half the person Devon was. A smile that literally lit up a room and gave you no choice but to smile back. A laugh so distinct, you knew he was near. The most warm hugs. A personality so big that you didn’t know what would come out of his mouth next. Devon lived his 27 years full of life, love, and laughter and was sure to spread just that every where he went. Devon also was a fighter. He was fighting to keep clean. He was fighting to live his life to the fullest. He was fighting every day. Although his battle with addiction is over, those of us still here on earth will continue fighting for him every day for the rest of our lives.
With unexpected losses, there comes a million things to take care of that no parents or family have prepared for. With these donations, we hope to take some of the financial burden away, so Devon’s family can take as much time as they need to cope and grieve. Any amount will help and we hope that by providing this blessing for the family, will help alleviate the pain they are enduring.
Devon, your memory will live on forever. We have always loved you through the good days and the bad ones. Continue to love and watch over those that loved you. 143.
