In Honor of Colter Hale

It is with the heaviest hearts we share that Colter passed away early this past week. Colter was, as his good friend Wesley put, the life of the party and a beacon of joyous energy. He was a person who was so full of life, it was impossible to not emulate his big grin upon seeing him. During his time here, Colter dedicated years to the art of free skiing that left an impact few can put into words. His style was a mix of grace, strength, and balls of steel - never hesitating when throwing a new trick, his mere presence would bring a hush over the crowd during competition. As Colter’s family looks back on his immense impact - they consistently find themselves thinking about the young skiers who have looked up to him and those who have yet to. Because of this they have chosen to honor him by putting monetary donations toward the skiing community.
