With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Christiane Nicole Cost, who went home to be with the Lord on April 7, 2026, at the age of 50, surrounded by those who loved her most.
Christiane was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend whose life was centered on loving others. More than anything, she loved people. She had a rare and beautiful way of making everyone feel seen, valued, and deeply cared for. Whether you knew her personally or were touched by her through her children or community, you felt the impact of who she was.
From the time she devoted her life to Jesus Christ in 2006, her faith guided every part of her life. She lived with grace, compassion, and unwavering conviction, always putting others before herself and serving those around her with a full heart.
For nearly three years, Christiane courageously battled Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Even in the face of unimaginable hardship, she remained a light to everyone around her, choosing love, connection, and faith over fear. In the end, she made the incredibly difficult and personal decision to pass on her own terms, surrounded by family and friends and held in the arms of her children.
As a family, we are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers we have received. Many have asked how they can help during this time.
This fundraiser is intended to help support our family with the financial burdens that come with a long and difficult medical journey, including medical expenses, end-of-life care, funeral arrangements, and providing support for the friends who selflessly volunteered their time as caregivers.
If Christiane touched your life in any way, directly or indirectly, this is one way to honor her legacy of love and community. Whether through a donation, sharing this page, or simply keeping our family in your prayers, we are deeply grateful.
Her life was a testament to love, faith, and the power of community. We hope to carry that forward in the way we support one another now.
Thank you for being part of her story.
With love,
The Cost Family
