It is with deep sadness, that we share the news of Chris Bailey's death. Chris was a loving and devoted husband, an adoring father, and if you were lucky, a friend. Chris was tragically taken from us after he was hit by a motorcycle on a business trip in Manhattan on August 31 at the young age of 43. He leaves a void that will be felt by many and most of all by his wife, Dawn, and his beautiful daughter Taryn.

Most tributes to the deceased talk about a person's kindness, selflessness, positivity, and love. Most of them have probably been written with rose-colored glasses. With Chris, those attributes do not do justice to the man. Not only did he exemplify each of those attributes, but he was also one of the smartest people you have ever met. And yet outside of working with Chris, you would never have known. He was humble and was always interested in others and in encouraging and mentoring them.

Outside of his devotion to family, Chris' hobbies included running (he qualified for the Boston Marathon!), dirt biking, and studying techie stuff. He will be sorely missed.

In lieu of flowers, Chris' family request any donations be sent to the following gofundme. It is managed by a close friend, all funds will go directly to his wife and child for funeral arrangements and future medical expenses associated with Taryn’s ongoing medical needs.
