Celebration of Life for Candace Rodrigues Lakin

Our ray of sunshine, Candace Alicia Rodrigues-Lakin, gained her angel wings on September 16, 2020 after a long and brave battle against diabetes. Although our hearts are broken we know her body is pain free. We find comfort in knowing she had a huge, warm welcome in heaven from her parents whom she missed immensely,  as well as her two sisters, grandparents and other friends & family who left before her. Candace leaves behind her two beautiful children, Theron and Soleil, her partner John, her sister Victoria and her brother Todd, as well as her brother in law Derek and nieces & nephews. If you know Candace you know that she was full of life, always seeing the glass half full and looking at the brighter side of things. She loved all of her family fiercely and we will most definitely feel a huge void in our lives and hearts without her earthly presence. Her laughter, the sense of calm she could give you, the loyal person she was will be truly missed. 

As you know a loss like this can be hard on families financially. We are humbly looking to our family and friends during this time to rally around Theron, Soleil, Victoria and John and help lighten the load as they prepare to lay her to rest & celebrate the beautiful soul she was. 

Candace we love you. We will forever have a huge void in our hearts with you gone. You fought with a brave face and a strong will. May your body, mind and spirit be at peace.
