My dad’s heart stopped on the evening of sept 8th and after doing CPR for twelve minutes with my panicked mother to my side the first responders came and took over. Twenty minutes after that they were able to get his heart beating again. He’s been on a ventilator ever since. His brain is extremely damaged from the lack of oxygen to the brain and the neurologist have given us no hope. They will go forward with following protocol to pronounce him brain dead later this week. He is 53 and didn’t leave any life insurance or prepare anything for his passing. I am trying to go forward and prepare things to follow his wishes of being buried and having a good service for his loved ones but am left with no resources. We would appreciate any and all help.
