In Honor of Augusta Moore

We are raising money to fund a memorial service for our beloved teacher and friend Augusta Moore who passed away from breast cancer October 24, 2019.
A pillar of the San Francisco dance community, Augusta brought the study of somatics to the movement vocabulary of ballet and changed countless lives in the process. Augusta made everyone feel welcomed, valued and appreciated. She loved people and creatures big and small. Through her teaching, she guided her students to what it means to be alive and present in the moment, and gain deep, joyful awareness in their bodies.
Memorial Date: February 16, 2020 | 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. PST

We encourage you to register your attendance which helps us know how many people to expect - tickets are not required to attend
Your donation will go toward rental and refreshment costs for the more than 400 people we are expecting will attend the reception. Thank you for helping us to deliver a beautiful memorial worthy of this extraordinary spirit. Any funds exceeding our goal will be donated to the Augusta Moore Scholarship Fund of the ODC School Program.
Augusta Moore's wonderful husband, Jon Berman will be in charge of the final expenses.
