We are creating this GoFundMe to support Benjamin and Jolene Nichols after the tragic loss of their son, Ashton Dexter Nichols. Ashton was born on November 20, 2024 and suddenly passed away just a few months shy of his 2nd birthday on August 27, 2026.

Ashton was born with a rare condition called heterotaxy. This caused his internal organs to be formed a little different than usual. However, that never stopped Ashton from being the happiest baby there ever was. He was so loved and was always smiling.

This is every parent’s worst nightmare. No one should have to do the things Benjamin and Jolene have had to do. We started this GoFundMe as a way to help support them with medical, funeral, and bereavement assistance during this unimaginable time.
