In Honor of Annette...

As you may know, Annette has been facing a challenging battle with cancer.

Due to her treatments, this will be the first time in a very long time that she will not be able to attend The AGM and Academy—in fact, I don’t think there is an event in the last 15 years she has missed.

We know this is going to be hard on her. While the good news is that Annette is on the road to recovery and will be okay, we want to rally around her and show our unwavering support during this time.

We would like to pay tribute to all of Annette’s hard work by fundraising within BBN to set up a World Bee Project scholarship in her name. The scholarship will be awarded each year to a young woman in a developing region or country, and will provide her with training to become a beekeeper along with equipment (such as hives) as well as bees.

Our contribution of at least $15,000 will make possible to provide at least one scholarship that will last a lifetime and change lives. To do this, we have established four tiers:

Tier 1 - $100

Tier 2 - $250

Tier 3 - $500

Tier 4 - $1,000

Annette has always been a passionate advocate for The World Bee Project, an organization that is very close to her heart. Over the years, she has shared her enthusiasm, knowledge, and dedication to this cause with all of us, and it's our turn to give back.
