On January 24, 2021 our beautiful mother, Anna Newman left this earth and went home to be with our dad. Though we are heartbroken and devastated over our loss, we know we are forever protected by our angel. She lived for her children and grandchildren and all she wanted was to make us happy and to feel loved. She touched so many lives and inspired all of us to be a better human being. She lived her life selflessly, always putting others before herself. She was kind, generous, warm and loving to every single person she met and nothing made her happier than to watch the Yankees on tv, feed others and have parties and celebrations in her home. You only had to meet Ms. Ann once to be a part of her life forever and become inspired by her spirit and fun personality.
Our family is so touched and overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support we have
received since her passing and the generous
offers of donations in her name. In lieu of flowers and to streamline the donations, we ask for all donations to be made to this page, which will go towards her memorial services and other expenses.
In addition, we will use a portion of the donated funds to feed the health care workers at Plainview Hospital. They went above and beyond to take care of our mom while she was sick and they treated our family with the utmost respect. They are true heroes and doing God’s work and we are forever grateful for their sacrifice and the humanity they showed our mom in her final days. These health care heroes are making the ultimate sacrifice each day to help others, knowing they are putting their own lives at risk. For us, feeding the staff is just a small way we can show our gratitude and appreciation.
We are so grateful to each and every one of you for your support during this difficult time. We are honored to have been her children and grandchildren and will continue her legacy of living each day to the fullest, filled with love, laughter, and kindness.
