On November 21st the day before Thanksgiving heaven gained a true angel. At the young age of 35 years old, Elizabeth Christine Cortez was taken too soon from us while bringing her miracle baby Royal into the world. She went in for her scheduled C-Section, delivered a perfect baby boy and passed immediately after seeing him. 

She is leaving behind many loved ones including her 12-year-old daughter Angel whose world is forever changed and newborn son Royal who will never know his mother. 

This is an unexpected tragedy.  There are no words to describe how our family is feeling. She was so excited to have another chance at motherhood after losing her son Royce just last year 30 minutes after he was brought into the world. We have peace knowing that she is now reunited with him and we are raising money to give her the beautiful memorial she deserves and a final resting place for her children to visit. Libby was an angel before she passed, she is the most loving, understanding and forgiving person to all of her family, friends and anyone who came into contact with her. Those who knew Libby knew she would do anything for them and her final gift to us all was giving her life for her son. She has given us all so many beautiful memories to cherish now is our chance to give back to Libby by giving her the beautiful goodbye that she deserves.

Our goal is to have the viewing and final resting place at Glenn Abbey Memorial as it is a beautiful location and you can see Imperial Beach which is Libby's favorite place to be and means so much to her family.
