In Memory of Amy Messinger: A Scholarship Fund for Mia

Amy’s passing leaves a giant hole in so many of our hearts. Thank you for joining us here as we strive to continue Amy’s legacy and honor the memory of our dear, dear friend.

Amy’s extensive community will know different facets of this extraordinary woman. Some of you will know her as a fierce businesswoman in a male-oriented industry. Others will remember her for her successful school fundraisers or as their child’s incredibly inspiring volleyball coach. Some as their high school valedictorian, or dorm RD at UCSB. To her many close friends, she was family.

But however diverse our interaction with Amy was, we all share a common connection. A connection with the biggest and kindest heart, the most generous soul, and the most dedicated mother to her beloved Mia.

To honor Mia is to honor Amy. Mia is in her senior year in high school and has just completed her college applications for next Fall. Amy’s guidance, counsel, and support throughout this period of transition and the next chapter in Mia’s life are impossible to replace. There is, however, a need that we as her community can help to address: to fill the gap in funds needed for her education and living expenses as she finishes high school and pursues her college education.

Please give as generously as you are able to this scholarship fund, and help Mia continue to live the life Amy so dearly wanted for her beautiful daughter.
