MARCH 2, 1984 – OCTOBER 29, 2019
Adrian Guerrero, beloved Father, Son, Brother and Uncle passed away on Tuesday October 29th, 2019 at the early age of 35. This unexpected tragedy has left all of his family with immense pain and a huge void in our hearts.
Adrian, leaves behind the love of his life and soulmate Stephanie and their two beautiful children David, and Devanie. These children were his entire world and he adored them. He always did his best to make sure his kids with special needs, were able to enjoy fulfilling life experiences and to help them not be limited. He enjoyed playing Nintendo, Mario Kart with his son and Stephanie. David says, “Babe was my hero and the only Dad I have ever really known”. Adrian, became a father whenStephanie and Adrian rekindled their romance, after not seeing each other since junior high school, when their love was young, forbidden, and thought to be no more than a school yard crush. As we all found out that was not the case. Stephanie, says “Adrian was my rock, always by my side, and my blessing from God”. She also says, he was the best father to her children and although she knows God only gives us what we can handle, she isn’t sure how she is going to get through the pain in her heart. Stephanie continues, that while every couple has rough patches, the past 10 short years have been the best 10 years of her life.
Our goal is to try and help the family in their time of grieving, help pay for funeral costs, and to ensure that there is no additional burden on top of the immense pain of unexpectedly losing their beloved, Adrian. Additionally, part of our goal is to bring awareness to the importance of taking care of yourself and acting immediately when you feel serious flu like symptoms.
What was mistaken for flu like symptoms turned out to be meningitis, which many of the symptoms mimic that of influenza. Such symptoms, along with an excessive delay in treatment, not making health care a top priority, and believing it will just pass, can lead to the most tragic outcome a family could ever face. Being proactive and getting yourself or a loved one to the hospital in an expeditious and timely manner can prevent another family from suffering such a devastating loss like this family has.
