In Honor of the Man That Was Loved by All: Barney Brown
Donation protected
Those of us that knew him best, knew the true worth of the heart of the man…
Barney Brown left this world from us last evening, May 17, 2025.. information has surfaced that he was found unresponsive in his sleep, and that he went peacefully. No more in known at this moment and ONLY information that is cleared by his family will be posted on here by me out of respect to them as they go through the grieving process.
He leaves behind a family, a loving wife, Dana, and two beautiful children, Peyton and Colton.
Barney’s very last Facebook post highlighted his unconditional love for his family which is all that would ever need to be said about the man… and yet, there will never be enough to say about him..
My name is Cody Mishler, and I had the pleasure of knowing Barney in his young years, as most of us did as well. He was absolutely maniacal, as we all remember. Always getting into something that he shouldn’t have been getting into. Always being the mischief-maker and sometimes getting some of us to follow his ways. And yet, there was another side to him that he only let those that he loved see…
He was a leader. Someone that you could lean on in your hard times, bringing up your spirits with a quickly-timed wisecrack. He loved without question and gave his time freely, none more than his very own, loving family. His heart was much, much bigger than his mouth was at times, but you only knew that if you knew him best.
Some of my fondest memories from childhood came from being around Barney. I remember going to Spring Break with him in 2006 and 2007 to Destin, Florida, two of the greatest weeks that I can remember of our journeys together in high school. Man, that kid was a GOOD time. He made himself the center of attention any chance he got and was loved by all that he introduced himself to.
He will be greatly missed by all; of that, I have no doubts. This fundraiser is to help compile any kind of funding that can be gathered to pass along to his family to help cover any costs that they’ll be in the coming days and weeks. Whether it be food costs, missed salary expenses, or costs to cover funeral arrangements, ANYTHING will help here.
Barney’s wife does not know about this being arranged, and I’m not even sure she will accept it, but I’d like to do whatever we can do as a collective for them in this time..
Thank you to EVERYONE that can give, and even if you can’t, your prayers are just as equally appreciated!
To all that have given so far, this will surely help alleviate some of the stress in this time for Barney’s family. I will raise the goal each time we reach it until a certain amount as I know that we all have our own things going on in life!
Thank you to everyone, again, and God bless you!
