In honor of our dad, Gary Shaffer: Funeral Fundraiser.

Hello everyone,

I am writing this on behalf of my mother, and our family. For those of you who know me, then you know that my father has been battling cancer for many years now, and although he has had ups and downs, the time is coming soon where the Lord is going to be calling dad home to heaven. He is in "the last seven". Those of you who have had a loved one in hospice know what this means. My dad is a great man, who worked hard his whole life on behalf of the family, and his friends. He gave of himself, his time, talents, and treasure frequently to those in need, showing forth the love of God through his love of his fellow man. Sadly, despite all this, we find ourselves in a position of needing some extra help to take care of the final arrangements. I humbly beseech you to see if you can find in your heart, a little bit of charity to help us finish this leg of the race. Any donation will help, even just a few dollars. We are extremely grateful for any and all help that can be rendered. Should you not be able to offer any financial help, you can still help simply by sharing this.
