We do not need any more help.  We have surpassed our goal and we are able to get the care Don has and continues to need.  Many hugs to all of you! You're amazing!

Don was in a dirt bike accident on Saturday Feb 1, 2020.  He was not being crazy (for once) but hit a large rain rut, he did everything he was suppose to do but under estimated the power of the bike and the front end pulled up too high and the back tired dropped into the rut throwing him over the handle bars and onto his back causing a burst fracture to his L1 .  Fortunately we had an amazing neurologist who performed a miracle.  Although Don is in the begining stages of standing and walking a few steps with the help of a walker, there are other issues he is dealing with that are out of his control.  He needs in home health care.  Unfortunately, Kaiser does not provide this type of care.  I am doing everything I know how but I am not a medical person in anyway.  We do have some money we can put towards a couple hours of care a day but with our future finances being cut down and other expenses, I'm not sure how long we can afford the care he needs.  Don is having such a difficult time with accepting help, especially money. He swears he’s going to pay it forward. What he doesn’t understand, he always pays it forward. He is so giving, to anyone for anything. If he is ask for a buck on the streets, he gives two. He is very humbled by the warmth of others during this tragic time. Thank you!
